What is trunk or treating?
If you like trick-or-treating, but wish you didn't have to walk around a neighborhood, trunk or treating is for you! Cars will be decorated and parked around the Grace Community parking lot offering traditional trick-or-treating fare with many allergy-friendly stops.
What exactly does Allergy-Friendly mean?
We understand the plight of kiddos with food allergies around this time of year. We offer trunk or treat stops that clearly marked as peanut-free, dye-free, and/or gluten-free. Stops that contain allergens are marked with allergy alert signs. We also offer plenty of non-food prizes for those who prefer to stay away from any candy. While we work to be sensitive of allergies, we can't guarantee that inflatables and other games have been kept free of common allergens.
How much does this cost?
Do I need to go to Grace Community to come to your event?
Nope. This event is open to the community. We really like the Cedar Valley, and we like to make sure everyone feels welcome at our events.
What if I want to come to church at Grace Community?
Awesome! Grace Community meets Sundays at 10 AM. We have a full slate of activities for kids ages 6 weeks through 6th grade. And for grown ups, we have contemporary worship, an encouraging message, and free Sidecar coffee every Sunday. Services are usually about an hour and fifteen minutes.
